About Us
KICKS Eastbourne offer kickboxing and K1 classes that are suitable for beginners through to advanced students. Our classes are taught by experienced, fully-insured black belt instructors. We welcome all levels of ability, including those who have never tried a martial art before.

Adult group classes, junior group classes and private 1-1 sessions are available throughout the week.
KICKS Eastbourne is an inclusive, non-judgemental community that welcomes anyone who is looking to get fit, learn a martial art, or would like to compete. We offer a structured grading system for all students, although this is not mandatory to participate in.

Anyone interested in joining KICKS Eastbourne is welcome to attend a free trial class (pre-bookable only).

KICKS Eastbourne is conveniently located in Eastbourne town centre, with free parking available on the surrounding roads. We are a ten minute walk from Eastbourne train station, and a five minute walk from local bus connections.
Our
Story
KICKS Eastbourne was founded by Stitch Sayers in 2010. The club was formed under the direction and guidance of KICKS Brighton, and was initially located in local sports halls before moving in to the current premises in 2013. We are one of the longest-established martial arts clubs in Eastbourne.

Stitch trained under Chris Kent, Tiffany Williams and Jim Caldecourt at KICKS Brighton from 1998 and went on to achieve his kickboxing Black Belt (3rd Degree). He built up KICKS Eastbourne as an instructor, cornerman and manager until he left the club in 2020.

Following a temporary closure in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, the club came under new management, and in collaboration with KICKS Brighton, the club continues to go from strength to strength. KICKS Eastbourne is supported by the central KICKS dojo in Brighton, which is led by:

Chris Kent
7th Dan Wado Ryu
7th Degree Kickboxing

All KICKS Eastbourne gradings are overseen and delivered by KICKS Brighton.
